P2 Numeracy Outdoors

Hello P2! This week’s Number challenge is to create your own giant outdoor number line. We have set some addition and subtraction activities for you to have a go at and included some extra challenges. We have also added some other fun activities for you to enjoy using your numberline.

You can create your outdoor number line anyway you like! Here are some ideas:

You could use chalk or a stone to draw your numbers on the ground
You could draw shapes around your numbers using chalk
You could write your numbers on paper and hang them up on your washing line!
You could create your number line out of paper plates and lay them out on the grass
