June news
What a month we have had! After finishing May with an exciting Sports Day, we started June with an incredible Platinum Jubilee party. All P1 – P4 children celebrated together. Everybody was very generous with the food they brought. Thank you!

We have been enjoying lots of play outside in the huge classroom under the sky. Spring is such a fabulous season for learning and we will show you how much we have learned since returning to school after half term.
Some of us have become very skilled at using the monkey bars. Look at the upper body strength here!
We had a brilliant session by Mrs Ashleigh McCartney and her Educalm lessons. We learned how to calm ourselves down, relax, breathe properly and to work together to help our positivity/mindfulness. We loved the mini yoga!
We are fortunate to have an apple tree growing beside the FS playground. It is coming into blossom at the minute so we decided to try to paint it using a ‘still life’ model.
It was then time to go to look for the dandelion clocks so that we couold learn about seed dispersal. We had such a great time!
