P1 building site trip
Last week we went on our trip to the building site. The weather was beautiful and the children were very well behaved! We were able to see some houses that are finished and some that are still under construction. We learned about the scaffolding, the pipework and we watched some men laying the bricks to build the walls. We were able to talk to men with various jobs on the building site and the children were able to ask some questions. One child asked why the chimney had been built so small as Santa may struggle to come down it!
Autumn walk
We went on a walk to look for signs of Autumn. We found different coloured leaves, some conkers, some fungi and a special ‘fun guy!’
