Delightful December in P1!

18th Dec 2025
We have had such a busy month in Primary 1!

The children were all stars in the Nativity, literally and figuratively! They all sang so well and performed the actions to our 'Pointy Stars' song brilliantly!

We have been creating lots of Christmas crafts as well as taking part in lots of Christmassy activities during Play Based Learning.

The PTA kindly gifted us a science show with Scientific Sue - we learnt all about the Celts through chemistry! Some lucky children were chosen to be helper scientists and they carried out some experiments, including making coins from molten metal and using a magnet to separate iron.

We had so much fun at the Christmas party with the P2s and P3s! We played some games, danced and sang along to some Christmas tunes, heard the story of the Grinch read by the Grinch himself and we even had a message from Santa! He said we had all been working so hard this term so he gifted us some extra playtime!

The boys and girls have had a fabulous first term at AMPS! The P1 Team wish them a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Make sure you all get plenty of rest over the holidays, ready for Term 2 in the new year!
